alright a friend of mine gave me an emulator and shit and I played Sonic the Hedgehog 1 on it and it was a pretty meh game. it suffered a lot from first-game syndrome so it felt a little boring and tacky at certain times (also I suck at this shit lol) but it isn't TOO bad of a game. and even though I didn't get the good ending (possibly since I didn't go to any of the special stages) it was still a pretty decent experience. I'd give it a 5/10
